Update on Mom: Mom started her day out fantastic ( well sort of but I digress) she are a huge breakfast for her....everything on her tray...usually just cereal, coffee and juice. Today she added the scrambled eggs and toast....she was mighty proud of herself. Ok now for the digression...the Aide said when she was coming down the hall to Moms room the first thing she saw was Moms legs hanging over the side of her bed...now that may sound like progress to you but its DANGER for her because she doesnt remember she isnt supposed to get up on her own.....if she does she will end up hurting herself again....she doesnt have the strength to hold herself up without assistance. Then she went to OT and PT and did great in both, had lunch and then to bed for her nap. I came home and did my laundry...but it was a great day, got to see several friends Mary Jane Lundgren Semple, Gerry Orr, Russ Stutzman and chatted with each one for a bit. Tomorrow, Ruthie and I will go to Emeritus and clean out Moms room and get that loose end tied up. All in all a great day and she was pretty happy and with it for the most part today. Am looking forward to going home on Monday but its bittersweet...would love to have more time to spend with my NY family. Am so grateful for the opportunity to spend this time here....God provides and gives more than I deserve....To Him be the Glory!!!!
