Update on Noah he is doing amazingly well for what he went through. He started physical therapy on Thursday and was able to put his feet over the bed and sit up with some assistance. Friday he was able to stand for about a minute. He developed a huge blister on the heel of his right foot it is across the whole bottom and growing around the top ugh! We were told that it is typical for the type of fracture that he had. The surgeon came in and changed the dressing last night and I got to see his surgical talents. It is amazing his leg was completely mangled and now it is straight and it is held together with a metal plate and 11 screws and the wound is infection free yay! He has a straight line down his shin that is held together with about 20 to 30 staples. I am very proud of him for trying to get up and moving. He is so determined to be whole again. On the upside he was on the news this evening Channel 25 with the NIU Huskies they came to visit today and made him smile even though he was in pain. They are playing in the Boca Bowl on Tuesday Night and they are a great group of guys! Good Luck Huskies! We are truly blessed to be at the Childrens Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center they are absolutely fantastic. I will post the video if I can find it.
