Update on Outages in La Poile and River of Ponds Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is currently reporting a power outage in La Poile impacting approximately 120 customers.The cause of the outage, which began at approximately 7:45 p.m., is currently under investigation. Due to weather conditions in the area at this time, crews will be dispatched in the morning when weather conditions are more favourable. As of 9:00 p.m., crews had restored power to approximately half of all customers affected by outages in River of Ponds. The estimated restoration time for remaining customers in the area is approximately 10:30 p.m. Regular updates on the status of the outages will be provided through media advisories and through Hydro’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
