Update on Pickles: Yesterday at about 2pm David said it looked like the incision over her hip was open on the top, small one where the pin was inserted had popped a stitch. Well, called Plymouth Heights and off we went. What a trip as I realized just after the exit to Walmart on Round Lake a massive traffic jam ahead. Thought immediately,oops the Anoka County Fair!. Took me almost 15 minutes just to get to the 7th Street exit, but took that and did a complete turn around to take 10 East to 610 over to Champlin and then down 169. Got there and Pearce the owner vet took a look at Pickles and wasnt too concerned as the first stitch had come open. Of course their first thought was licking, but I told them she had not been licking the site at all, but that she did jump up on the couch before I could stop her. Well, left there and came home. Of course today she wants to bounce all over and I think she needs sedation. Of course there is no sedation, but how do calm her down and keep her quieter? This is now going to be a LONG 8 weeks until her fracture is healed and the leg can be trusted again.
