Update on Piper. Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes. She fell from the top bunk last night onto the tile floor. We took her to the ER, where she charmed the pants of everyone. They kept her seven hours while they talked to surgeons in Atlanta. When she found out we might have to leave the beach to go straight home, she was heart broken. We finally heard back from Atlanta around 4 AM, they said that the break in her eye socket bone was minor, and that the fragment floating around could be removed via out patient. After a thorough eye exam, to ensure she had control of her eye muscles and vision, we were then given the go ahead to finish out our vacation and let her swim and eat ice-cream. We are giving her lots of love, tylenol, and icepacks.
