Update on Ramon. I talked to my Mommy a couple days ago and asked her about Ramon, her co-workers husband who had suffered a heart attack. Before paramedics could get there he had stopped breathing and was in a coma for a couple of weeks. Doctors didnt expect him to make it, but he did. He survived and hes home but the lack of oxygen has taken much away. His mind varies between that of a child to having limited memory. He thinks his youngest son who is 9 is his older son at that age, whos in his 20s at least. He doesnt know his wife either. She continues to care for him at home now. Shes back to work at Wal-Mart, and that is their only income. Mom said her first couple of days back to work someone vandalized her car, broke into it and cut her battery out, wires and all. Wal-Mart refuses to be held responsible for the $200 +/- in damage even though the manager forces employees to park at the farthest end of the lot or risk being written up and eventually fired. If anybody can use a prayer right now this lady and her family can. I asked Mom if she knows if the doctors have given them any hope for recovery of any part of his old self, and shes not sure. I just ask yall to please keep them in your prayers. I will.
