Update on Ripley: I dont know where to begin but I need to get some of this out there. Ripley went in this morning for surgery for MCT (Mast Cell Tumor), but before they started surgery the did an ultrasound to see if it has spread. What they found what not what we wanted. Unfortunately they found an adrenal tumor that has invaded into the vena cava. I wont get into specifics as to what will happen but it is a death sentence. Ripley does not have much time left and there are no options surgically. He will come home and enjoy what time he has left and enjoy day to day life with his pack. And I will spoil the crap out of him. As you all know my dogs are huge part of my life and each hold special meaning to me. Ripley is my heart .. I have always said that. He is part of me and I am not sure how I will handle this going forward. I am utterly crushed, broken and would trade anything for this not to be happening to my sweet sweet boy... I cant thank Alice Peek enough for rushing over to ensure i was ok and not having a heart attack and staying with me. She means the world to me and I cant imagine my life without her constant support. I am so heartbroken...devastated and just want this not to be happening... thanks for all your support.. words of wisdom and virtual hugs... we most certainly need them now. One more thing.. after you read this .. go hug the shit out of your dog and dont let go....
