Update on Sebastian - Surgery went mostly successful. The surgeon does not think that he got hit by a car, but instead got hung up, entangled, caught in something and he was freeing himself. During that process he fractured his leg in 3 different places and during surgery they also found splinters of bones, some they were able to attach back on, some not. His leg is being held together with screws, wire and a plate............. :-( He has to stay crated for 8 weeks (hes gonna go stir crazy!!) His wounds were open for some time prior to me finding him so the vet is worried about infection, and hes also worried about the body rejecting the plate............... its a wait and see game right now. Poor thing is breaking my heart, sitting in that crate, all confined, moving around on 3 legs (hes not putting any pressure on his fractured one). And the sad meows he gives me................... killing me! The bill has risen to a lot of money now (I couldve went to Germany and back twice with that kind of money); but oh well - I do what I have to for my kids! I chose to adopt them so I need to be responsible enough to care for them the right way!! I thought the bill was done and final but per instructions, the vet wants to see Sebastian again in a few weeks and take X-rays (which all makes sense, but I didnt think of it), so there will be more expenses coming up...............ugh.......................... Anette Thommes - you mentioned raising money for the cat..............yeah, I could, I could sign up with GoFundMe but I just dont feel right asking people for money, you know? Ill figure it out, Ill pay it off in time, I just hope and pray that no other financial emergency creeps up until this is paid off......................
