Update on Shealyn Thomson.. Shea had a better day today as we feel things are starting to move! The surgeon from Dartmouth called at 8:00am this morning and they received the charts from CMMC yesterday afternoon and he brought them home with him. He said tat I had a right to be anxious and concerned and he wants Shea to come in ASAP to have a cat scan, chest X-rays, blood work and pulmonary testing!! His assistant called an hour later and has it all arranged for tomorrow late morning at Dartmouth!!!! The surgeon said he wanted to see all and treat Shea aggressively before anything happens! Well Mid State Medical called and said the doctor said he really does not want to prescribe anything to Shea for her cough as she is on to many meds as it is!!!! Really??? Went to pick up her meds at pharmacy and two medications that Mid State did not re-new...one is her heart med and the other anxiety!!! The pharmacist just smiled and said I will call them!!! Wow!!!! The heart pill is a necessity and the anxiety is as needed...she can take one every six hours, but she takes one every night to sleep! Shea is really hospital condition and not primary care condition. And until Dartmouth got to see the history of Sheas journey, they had no idea.. Now we should be on track. Just hope it is not late and that we dont have to wait even longer because of this all. We need to keep going forward... We are ready to get this done....Stay Strong Shea!!! We are on our way!!!!!
