Update on Shealyn Thomson.. Shea had a good day with Occupational Therapy...she brushed her teeth while standing at the sink and put together her own lunch!!! Thanks to the wheelchair being able to make it around the island in the kitchen.. We will try to be in the kitchen everyday! Mikey has been asking for muffins, so that can be on Sheas list to make tomorrow! Lincare came and we still have oxygen canisters but much, much smaller! Much easier to go out with! Was not looking forward to the 3 hour round trip to Dartmouth with these huge missile like cannisters in my back seat!!! The new ones are a foot high and I can put one on the back of the wheelchair and an extra in my backpack as backup...they can go up to eight hours a piece!! I feel relief!! Thank you Lincare! Shea maintains her weight at 94lbs.. Yeah Shea!!! The Gatorade, the protein sake sand ice cream snacks are t least keeping her from losing weight! Shea, if you feel good tomorrow, we will venture out! The fresh air would be good for you...fingers crossed for good weather!! Stay Strong.....
