Update on Shealyn Thomson..a good day but tiring.. Just the shower in the morning takes a lot of time and especially a lot of energy from Shea and me! She had Physical Therapy this morning and the Social Worker came this afternoon.. A lot of paperwork and questions.. This lady actually works with the State of New Hampshire and we are seeking disability and any other programs out there, but what a really stressed filled meeting! I do understand many people try to scam state programs but to sit there looking at my daughter, on oxygen, knowing she is up for major heart surgery, has been in the hospital for six months and the only reason she is home is because of me taking care of her......asks and why cant you work?! Man, she was here for almost two hours and I feel so overly exhausted! Plus I have the privilege of getting more things done within the next two days, per this person! What if Shea was on her own without a momma? Would she be out of luck?? I have so much on my plate right now, I could just scream.. I am not working, I am not getting paid, but I have deadlines to meet...therapists and nurses to greet, a telephone ringing to beat and not being able to take a seat! A week from today Shea and I are traveling to Dartmouth to learn our next fate! The journey continues, but is getting closer to the end! So much to do, so much to do! Shea, thank you for all your efforts with the paperwork today...I do understand the frustration, believe me! Lets get past the next few days with calls and interviews and put this all behind us! Stay Strong Baby Girl!!!
