Update on Skandle... Remember the little kitten from a few weeks ago that I asked for help rehoming? My plea was that no sweet, cute, adoptable cat should be taking up space here. Every precious spot should go to special needs. Well, we had a couple of adoption interests, but nothing worked out. And, as it turns out, she would not be a good match for just anyone- shes testy and can get overly aggressive. Were working with her on that bad habit, but she still needs to go to an adopter who will accept her as she is and is a seasoned cat person. On the other side of the coin, when she is in the mood- which is most of the time now days- she is the best snuggler! She loves lap time and will nuzzle under my neck. She gets along great with the other cats and uses the litter pan like a pro. She lets me trim her nails without issue. One of our trusted friends will take her, but we know she has her hands full with her own. She needs an adopter, not a rescuer, who will let her be herself. Until then, my personal cat and Top Tux, Madison the Magnificent, whom Skandle seems to really like, has stepped in and agreed to foster her until we can find that perfect home. Thank you Madison and dont forget- you can NOT be a foster failure!
