Update on Star : She went out for her early morning walkabout & bathroom break & then joined the office hooligans for the day... its really dull & boring in a tiny hospital cage.She was a little shy at 1st- but by this afternoon she was part of the fur carpet on the office floor ;-) Her temperature is slowly coming down - but still not low enough for any surgery- so for now we continue with bandage changes & dressings. The healing around the stump is looking good & that skin needs to be healthy for the amputation -we need some extra skin to close it up properly. Star is just a model patient... & patient she is - taking all the discomfort without a peep or a snarl or a growl
