Update on Trae: He is home resting comfortably and surprisingly he is very active as well. First few days he was very needy and anxious, he would follow me everywhere in the room and softly meow at me. By now he has learned to relax and is very content just laying anywhere on my bed when I am in the room with him or inside the closet when I am out of the room. He has a very good appetite and using the liter box very well. Upon the doctors check up before his surgery the doctor noticed a hard lump under his chin which appears to have been an older trauma. Just how old is hard to tell as he is barely five months old and already has that injury to his jaw and his broken leg. He goes back to the vet next Tuesday and we will continue his care and look for a home for him. More pictures will come this weekend. Our thanks go out to everyone that has helped us help him.
