Update on Tropical Storm Barry from forecaster Bryan Crouch... Tropical Storm Barry is currently located approximately 55 miles east-northeast of Veracruz, Mexico. Current movement is to the west at 6 MPH. Landfall is expected to occur in the next 6-12 hours on the southern mainland Mexico coast. Maximum sustained winds are currently at 45 MPH, with a minimum central pressure of 1005 mb. This storm may strengthen slightly before making landfall, with a maximum intensity at landfall of 55 MPH expected.
