Update on a sweet dog Cindy Eads Mitchell, Vivian Abbott and I rescued about 2 years ago. Kelly, now Arya, was alone and starving, hanging around a house up 171, eating cat food off a porch. Neighbors had been throwing rocks at her trying to scare her away. They were terrified of her because she was a pit bull, and you know, even the skinny, starving young ones are vicious maneaters. So it was to the point they were ready to shoot her. A lady called me, and I was at work, so I called Cindy. Cindy immediately took off after her, then drove around with her for hours till I got off work. Vivian came and got her from me a few days later, and placed her in a wonderful home with a guy named Kyle. Kyle sent Cindy this beautiful picture of her now, and said she weighs 71 pounds, and is an official member of a family, complete with her own grandparents! These are her pictures from the day she was rescued, and how she looks now. THIS IS WHY WE RESCUE!!!! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in this wonderful rescue!
