Update on helwan dogs, the catchers went out yesterday and caught 9 dogs, but the people of the area made them release 3 claiming they are their dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you know ESMA offered very special prices for sterilization operations and our suggestion was that these dogs get sterilized before being released in other places but the rescuers said they cannot afford it too so the other 6 dogs were relocated in another area where we expect that in very few months will lead to another problem due to increase of numbers in the new area. If rescues are not going to be accompanied by TNR then you are doing nothing at all in fact you will be making a problem in another area.
