Update on lookout and road closures on Mt Gibraltar: The Oxley Drive loop around the top of Mount Gibraltar remains closed, including access to Jellore and Mittagong lookouts. Bowral lookout remains open. There are several dead trees still alight despite the overnight rain and we are expecting Fire and Rescue NSW to attend this morning to complete the mop up operations. The hazardous trees have been attended to by an arborist and either felled or reduced in height. We are anticipating the road and lookouts to be open later this afternoon.
