Update on mom AKA Nanny Dolly. Today is day 11 she has been hospitalized. The time has been a definite roller coaster of ups and downs of being happy, scared, concerned, thankful, worried, and tired. However, yesterday a new hospital doctor was placed on the case because of the rotation and we have seen more care, concern and investigation in the last two days then we have the past nine. The new doctor discovered that mama had fluid around her lungs along with pneumonia within the lungs. Today they drained a liter of fluid from around her right lung. She says she can breathe better, she ate almost all of her dinner and took a long stroll in the hallway!! We are so excited to think she may FINALLY be on the mend. She is still nowhere ready to be dismissed, but much, much better than she has been the past 9 or 10 days. Thank you sweet Jesus!! Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Hopefully, my next update will be to tell you she has been dismissed.
