Update on mom...she us settling in nicely to her new room and seems to be quite a bit more comfortable now that she has left the ICU. We brought up the flowers and huge stack of cards that have all been sent to the house. That definitely put a big smile on her face :-) This evening she put her glasses on and starting reading some of the cards, and we even watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She ate a little bit of all three meals today...which we are thrilled about. She is spending more time every day sitting up in bed, and even cruising around in a wheel chair. With the help of the nurses and therapist, she is using a walker to get up from time to time as well. She went through some physical therapy this morning and will be continuing on Monday. Its really great to see her smiling again. The pain is still an issue, but they have her on a medication every 4 hours that seems to helping immensely. We know that many of you want to visit her in the hospital, and trust me, she wants to see all of you. These next few days are going to be exhausting for her, so we just ask that you call my dad or myself to check first. Progress is being made every day, thanks to all of your support, prayers, love, and thoughts. I will keep the updates coming once she starts up with therapy again on Monday. Thanks for everything. We love you all.
