Update on my 79 yr old moms Glioblastoma multiforme. On July 7th they did a craniotomy & removed a baseball size tumor. (this measures between 9 and 9 1/4 which converts to between about 7.3 cm). Another MRI on July 20th showed the tumor grew back 6.7 cm. She under went 30 daily Radiation treatments along with 120 mg dosage of temador. ( In an attempt to shrink it by half). Mom got weaker with each treatment to the point of being unable to stand or even pivot. She never lost her appetite or lost any weight. They put her back on steroids to reduce swelling in the brain (these will be long term) Now just 2 weeks after completing this treatment she is able to get out of bed alone & walk nearly independently. Praise be to God.
