Update on my Dad: Neurologist confirmed Dad had a light TIA, presence of cholesterol in arteries on MRI, and low electrolytes/potassium/magnesium levels. He has no motor or cognitive deficits from the TIA. Doctor stated going through a colonoscopy Thurs and having to be off aspirin regimen post biopsy may have contributed some. Doc has ordered a carotid artery test, diagnostics to check for a-fib and they still have to get his BP down. He will stay overnight again, the doctors are being very conservative and thorough.
