Update on my Mom, she did well on the weekend, she had some PT. This morning she woke up and her right wrist was a little sore, so they did get a x-ray on it. Hope to know the results tomorrow. They started giving her Lidocaine patch at night to help along with her Norco to help with her rib pain. She is also receiving Lovenox injections to help prevent from a DVT/PE which is good. She is progressing as well as one can with as many broken bones as she sustained. Please keep the prayers coming, it is much appreciated. An update on my friend Joyce who had the double lung transplant had to have to lower right lobe removed as it was infected and the tissue was starting to die, the antibiotics was not doing the job, that part of the lobe was some what damaged in the very beginning, must have been from what ever accident the donor was in damaged it, but was still good enough for the transplant, but we just got word today that she is actually will be home in Michigan for Thanksgiving! Yeah! Thank you all for your prayers and inquiries about her, she is such an amazing person and such a trooper. As I send this message out, its also requesting for you to think about being an organ donor, one does not want to think about your own death, but if god forbid something does happen to you or a loved one, please consider being a donor, you could give someone else a chance at life.
