Update on my Sleepy Doo: She is home from the hospital this evening and is doing well. She is on medication, probiotics and prescription diet. Her liver enzymes and bilirubin are elevated and her BUN and creatinine were also elevated. The vet doesnt think it is the chives that she ate that caused her symptoms. She had x-rays of her abdomen and they saw no masses. Whew! If her liver enzymes are still elevated after a month they will do a liver ultrasound. Right now she is asleep on her kitty heating pad on her pillow on my bed. Rakiroo greeted her with open paws and I know he missed her a lot. Im glad my babys home again. For the past 2 mornings I kept saying goodbye to her and the other cats, always forgetting she wasnt home. :( Im so very happy shes back home.
