Update on my UNBC application. I have had an employer send in a reference letter, and have emailed a social worker with whom I worked and one of my profs to request letters from each of them. I have completed my application to the School of Social Work, requesting entry into 3rd year in the area of First Nations Specialization. I have written my letter of Intent to explain why I want to go there and what I think they can offer me.I have sent in several other personal references, a bunch of unofficial transcripts and my several page resume itemizing my 37 years of being a community volunteer. The only thing left for me to do is to contact Capilano College, University of Windsor, University of Western Ontario, Kings College and Fanshawe College to request the sending of official transcripts to UNBC, (Holy!!! Looking at how many places I went to school it is no wonder I ended up owing 53k in student loans by the time I was done.) Yep, I am getting my ducks in a row.
