Update on my Wegeners disease: Before Christmas my doctor gave me some disappointing news that the disease had traveled to my lungs and formed two holes (based on my chest xray) in my right lung. He then referred me to a pulmonogist and ordered a ct scan to see how bad it really was, given I would need to start chemo asap to slow down the disease. Well the day after Christmas my doctor called me to wish me a merry Christmas and he had a present for me. After reviewing the ct scan I had on Christmas eve, he didnt see the two holes he originally thought. But he recommended I still see the pulmonogist to verify. Today I had my apt with the pulmonogist, and thank you baby Jesus, the disease is not in my lungs like originally thought! What a crazy emotional roller coaster.
