Update on my poor Maxwell who was hit by a car 2 days ago. After an overnight stay at the Emergency Vet , maxwell is home. He is in a lot of pain. Sometimes he lays on the couch and cries in pain. His red blood cells are low, temperature is low, protein is low . They think he had some internal bleeding, but they think itgn clotted and stopped. We think after he was hit he was drug under the car Lots and lots of cuts and huge areas of road rash. His paws are tore up and his nail tore off and broken, broken teeth, there are a few wounds they think might need surgery, depending how to they heal. Maxwell has a tough road ahead with a pretty substantial recovery time Maxwells strong , he will flight back and win.
