Update on my sister: Two days ago she woke up for the 2nd time since the surgery and her kidneys and everything were functioning properly. She actually sat up on the side of the bed for 15 minutes. Then they put her back into sedation so that she can continue to heal comfortably. All fluid has drained and although she has a long way to go, she is indeed on the road to recovery. As of yesterday, she is only on ONE heart medicine and they are weening her off of that too. If she continues at this accelerated rate of healing, they will remove the breathing tube so that her body can completely function on its own. I and my family are soooooo grateful to God for what He is doing in my sisters life. It is truly marvelous in our eyes, His wonders to perform. My sister will be able to come home in a few weeks at this rate! Thank you all for your love and prayers. Keep it coming!
