Update on our Lucy! We have had a pretty calm day, besides attempting a picc line, her veins are very thready and couldnt get one, we just hope and pray her Ivs hold out another night. Her 02 stats are finally starting to stabilize and our nurse is weaning her down SLOWLY as Lucy tolerates it. She was also started on nitric oxide to dilate the blood vessels in her lungs. Culture of blood still shows no growth, her little tummy is looking the best its looked. She had a blood transfusion yesterday, so she is good and pink. She will have blood work in the morning to check her CRP levels (infection). Please say a prayer for good restful, uneventful night so our Lucy so she can get over this.
