Update on our case defending a downtown Bangor business---- last month we won a decision for them before the Workers Comp board -- today we received an 8 page Motion to Reconsider signed by no less than the General Counsel of the Workers COmp Board, the Assistant General Counsel for the Board AND the attorney who handled the case at the hearing for the state----- 3 state taxpayer attorneys vs us----- I have a feeling if they lose this motion to reconsider this issue of indep contractor v employee will probably be appealed up to the State Supreme Court---- justice takes time :)
