Update on our daddy. He opened his eyes and squeezed our hands last night. Today we had them cut his sedation in half. He woke up and cried when he saw us. They tried to take him off the ventilator but he was not able to breath on his own at all!!!! Encouraging that his vitals and his labs are moving in the right direction and that he was able to respond appropriately to us. Keep the prayers coming because weaning off the vent may be very difficult with all his lung issues. Thanks and love you all! Will keep you posted.
