Update on the Babies💗💙!!! Waylon had his pressure lowered on his bubble CPAP today and so far tolerating very well🙏!! Madison also had her pressure lowered On her bubble CPAP and her feed increased and tolerating it pretty good🙏.....She has had a few episodes (as & bs) where her oxygen saturation & her heart rate drops.... The doctors feel these episodes are related to the fluid on her brain (hydrocephalous)!! Her routine ultrasound tonight showed that the fluid had increased..... So she will be getting a shunt which allows the fluid to drain off of her brain into her abdomen ..... I hope to consult with neurosurgery tomorrow to figure out a plan on when...... We hope that she can get the shunt sooner then later.... The sooner we can get the fluid off her brain the sooner her body can grow new brain tissue & Right now the part of the brain affected by the fluid causes cerebral palsy.... So please say a little prayer for our sweet baby girl cause mommy and daddy love her so much and we just want her to feel better!!!!
