Update on the Laurel Library. We are excited to know that a new library will be serving the Laurel community. Were even covering the many different iterations of libraries in Laurel in our upcoming exhibit Lost and Found Laurel opening February 9. Because the library is downsizing some of their local history collection, we are now the home of the Librarys collection of Laurel Leaders, spanning from 1897-2008. Some of these have been digitized and we hope to get them on our website soon. Some are hard bound large copies which are very interesting to go through. We have also taken in some of the vertical files on local history that were at the library. If youd like to see any of these materials, making an appointment is your best bet!
