Update on the Panels investigation of the Request for Inspection related to the Vishnugad-Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project: The investigation is ongoing. The Panel has visited the Project area, met with relevant stakeholders and interviewed Bank staff, and it is in the process of preparing the investigation report. The Panel initially expected to submit its investigation report to the Board within 6 months from June 2013 when it published its investigation plan. Heavy workload plus the summer storm events in the Project area, which took the time of the Panel’s expert consultants, has slowed down the investigation and the Panel now expects to complete and submit its report by March 2014. go.worldbank.org/MID2CD82Y0
