Update on the Update: The Service Pack for the GP40 is in Administrative Testing right now. This means that we are testing it on a clean copy of TS2015, with the exact same unaltered versions fo the GP40 packs that you downloaded when you purchased the unit. When we have passed this stage, the Service Packs will be released as Public Beta. In plain English, Public Beta means that YOU get to be our guinea pigs. Aint it nice to be included? Anyone who has purchased the GP40 is welcome to try the Update, but we would recommend that if you do not know much about the inner workings of Railworks, you should hold off until testing has been underway for a while. If you do decide to test the Update, the MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do is back up your VRC folder to a safe location before installing the Update. That way if something goes wrong you have a good copy to fall back on. Although we do not use any default TS2015 files, it couldnt hurt to back up your entire TS2015 installation. The second most important thing you can do is give us feedback to be sure that the Update is working the way we intended, and to be sure it hasnt broken anything that we did not intend to break. Railfans in general are quite a particular lot, and im actually amazed that some of the things that we fixed in this Update have not been caught before now. If you see something that is obviously wrong, let us know about it!
