Update on the baby: Hes about to have surgery the top knuckle of his finger is going to be reattached but it may end up falling off depending on how it heals up. He may have a fingernail he may not he should regain movement he may not. My oldest son is devastated with guilt but it was a total accident. The baby should go home after surgery time will tell after that. Grateful it was his pinky and not another finger like the thumb and only the top of his finger.
