Update on the case, the sister script to The Worthmores, no word yet from judge. Evidence is in though. Is there enough evidence to proceed to trial. Overwhelmingly so. Where has there ever been a case in film history where the ones who steal it actually but in the biographical stats of the writer they took from? Where in history the writers claiming they wrote it could not explain what the piece meant? Where is the case where 191 striking similarities are shown and the opposing firm claims there is none at all. Where is the case where the opposing firm concedes to the plaintiffs firm that plaintiff wrote their work first. Where we have the copyright before them. Where access is shown directly from the original submitting attorneys testifying they sent it certified mail with the original letter. And yet will this case succeed past motion to dismiss in California? Will it be determined that there is triable evidence regarding similarities between the two works and that the defendants had access, in the courts? Historic precedent says no. Not in California where Hollywood reigns supreme. However, who knows, this is the best chance to break the trend and actually turn the industry around for all those writers that suffered similar loss before us. A chance to change the tide and grip Hollywood has held on decisions. OK so we are a bit optimistic, but we have to be. And we have the best firm now that actually got by the blocks to our evidence getting in. If our evidence becomes public, our case and cause is not buried, our message breathes and lives. That is the other battle ground Warner Brothers launched hard in through their TMZ owned news outlet with two stories that went world wide blasting this author the same way they did our striking similarities, as if I never did or achieved anything, claiming Tom Althouse is a no nothing hack, without any reporter listedon the article taking credit for the tirade. It is also why they have press releases ready in moments to counter other articles claiming the unbelievable notion that there are no similarities when they are displayed on thematrixredeemed/down-the-rabbit-hole.html so clearly along with the submission letter, testimonials, interview and our evidence including the 191. But there is a chance. And that is only because we have the evidence and knowledge they have nothing, accept the plan to have this silenced through summary judgement. Which may happen as they planned, but we have not settled, and we are not silenced and the evidence including their own entries into their film itself, are not going anywhere. So the truth is not buried, and the message does breathe, and as our attorneys said, we are already vindicated. It just remains can they bury the hole faster than we can uncover it.
