Update on the little dog in Amarillo.... TUE 4:25PM UPDATE ON SHIH TZU AND 3 OTHER DOGS~ Ok folks~ all 4 dogs have been removed from the property. There are no dogs on site. Let me lend some perspective to this situation. She was given this dog 5 years and it has never been an indoor dog. So, we know the age to be around 7yr old. That being said, the dog is not socialized and potentially would be a difficult placement. We will monitor the situation and we have offered our help with any and all of the dogs. At this point, the dog is familiar with this family member and will be living there as an indoor dog. If it turns out not to be a good placement we will be there to help rehome if requested. The Shih Tzu is getting groomed tomorrow. Vaccines will also be given and there will be an appt made for sterilization. This dog will no longer be an outside dog which was the goal as well as groomed and vetted. The other 3 dogs will also be vetted in the near future. I appreciate the support of the FB community and I will post pics tomorrow of the Shih Tzu post grooming. Sometimes it takes a village. Please continue to follow our page with the updates.
