Update on the public hearing at Warren Rd. Community Center this morning. I counted 100 plus people, mostly angry, which was good. If this public hearing had been held after working hours, I would venture to say that there would have been 300. Fifteen people had the opportunity to speak. Men and women alike stepped up to the microphone to express their disgust with this new proposed tax increase. Mary Davis,(District 3 Commissioner), and Donnie Smith,(District 7 Commissioner), were the only brave souls there. We applaud them. WE NEED A MAJOR TURNOUT AUGUST 19, 2014 at 1:30 Commission Chambers for the last public hearing! Lets pack the Commission and get on the list to speak!!!
