Update on the situation in Michika LGA: I just came back home and met my Aunty that left for Bazza some weeks ago to harvest her crops. We tried hard to stop her from going but she insist thinking that Nigerian Army are in full control of the town. She left Bazza Tudu Wada today. I thank God for her safe return. According to her, the Boko Haram are still in Bazza and Michika, and in full control of the area. The Hunters are around Tsukuma area. They have been there for a while without advancing. Throughout her stays, the jet fighter that sometimes comes around has not dropped any Bomb. The Boko Haram always engage in hot shoot out on citing the jet and they always repelled it. She said they sometimes noticed a plane coming to drop some stuffs late in the night for the Boko Haram. According to her, each week they replace the Boko Haram boys with new ones. That the Boko Haram boys are grouped in twenties and strategically dispersed around town. Looting is still on. And on sad note, one of my maternal Uncle Chiko was killed and his Mum was burnt when they set their house on fire in recent attack in Tampul area. #RestoreBackOurHomeLands
