Update regarding the upcoming Bastrop County Master Gardener Program. The next meeting of the Lost pines Garden Club will be on Tuesday Nov 11 at the Bastrop Library. Some Information on the club is at lostpinesgardenclub.org. Rachel Bauer or a Master Gardener will speak about the upcoming Master Gardener training for Bastrop and Caldwell counties. Some information on the Master Gardener program is at https://mastergardener.tamu.edu/become/. The program in Bastrop is the planning stages, so if you have some ideas or preferences, Tuesday will be a good time to share them. The goal is to train more master gardeners who can serve as gardening resources for Bastrop. We meet on Tuesday November 11 at 6:30 PM for mingling and refreshments. After a brief business meeting, the speaker commences around 7:15 PM. We meet in the Pressley meeting room on the left side of the Library.
