Update time. 2 appointments today in geisinger well technically 3. Anyways appointment 1 with my nutritionist dr. So she tells me Im dehydrated not just a little says Im stage 4 renal failure. I dont know what that is I just know its really bad like dying bad. So now Im scared shit less . But very calmly (which aint me) I explain to her how her office and the infusion company werent on th same page I was suppose to be getting 2200ml instead of 2000ml. I also told her how the office called and wanted me to try only having tpn 5 days a week. Well I could tell by the look on her face that she knew she dropped the ball. So we leave there and go to my 2nd appointment which not much changed my nurse Kathy Groton is a amazing nurse. She does my exam I tell her all about the first appointment and, she takes a look at the labs says they are not as bad as what they seem. So I have what I call a open wound in the middle of my stomach. It just seems like it doesnt want to heal in that area. So my nurse says its a spot that is trying to hard to heal. Its all bumpy and kinda looks like cauliflower except a nice rosey pinkish red.it use to drain fluid but, it has almost stopped. Today we started to fix that with some silver magnesium. Which will burn some of this excess skin off and, hopefully will get that area looking normal except for some scarring. So we finish there and, like everytime I leave there Kathy says, Stay out of trouble, trouble. . I tell her, see ya next week. Back down to appointment 1 or 3 depending on how you want to look at it. So the nurse that had called me comes out and says we need talk I say, ok. She then admits to me that they dropped the ball. I tell her and the Dr that I dont care what mistakes were made lets just make sure we are on the page now.i talked calmly and made my point very clear. As we are leaving the Dr says oh dont worry you dont have renal failure I just needed ploy to keep you here.i just left it go . We stopped at the turkey ranch on the way home and, had a great meal . I know another couple who had a great meal too . I know because I bought their meal too. I think I was havin such a bad day I needed to make someone smile.
