Update to the update: Skunk Vs. Dog Round II AFter cleaning the dog and the house I finally get to bed. Less than an hour later I hear the dog barking at something in the yard, like maybe another skunk. So, I jump out of bed and run to doggy and sure enough he comes flying through drenched in skunk-stunk the second time today. A scan of the yard turned up no animals, but quick trip to Kroger did produce supplies to de-skunk the house and dog AGAIN. For anyone interested, make a dog rinse of H2O2, baking soda and a shot of liquid soap. Works well. Area odors seem to be either absorbed or covered with small bowls of vinegar in the affected areas. If he gets shot one more time tonight he becomes an outdoor dog.
