Updated SitRep: § The Darling Causeway between Mount Victoria and Bell remains closed due to fire activity and fallen power lines. Bells Line of Road is closed between Bilpin and Lithgow. Hawkesbury Road is open, however, local road closures are still in place for some fire areas. Great Western Highway remains open between Blackheath and Mt Victoria tonight, however this is subject to change. § The railway line between Mt Victoria and Lithgow remains closed with rail services replaced by buses. Sydney Trains are endeavouring to reopen the line as soon as possible but this may take several days. § Endeavour Energy and Jemena is working to restore power and gas to fire affected areas as soon as possible. However, due to the widespread and extensive nature of the damage this work may take several days. § Council resources continue to be deployed in support of fire fighting operations, particularly with road blocks, asset inspections and bulk water support. Crews have commenced clearing unsafe trees in the Springwood area.
