TMCP has ruthlessly beated Francis, a first year student of Botany at Scottish Church outside his house, for organising support in Scottish Church College. They tricked him by asking for directions, and while he stepped into an isolated ally, they kicked him in the chest and stomach till he was coughing and wheezing blood. Then they rode a motorbike over his legs and torso. A team from Presidency and Jadavpur reached him, took him to NHS hospital where he was reunited with his parents. We hope he will recover. Doctors say that most of the damage in internal. The X-ray of his lungs could not even show his bones clearly, because of internal damage and bleeding. 2. A massive rally was released from Presidency to Lalbazaar. About 1500 people participated. A large number of school children and parents also joined us. We welcome them, our comrades, our companions. The rally was stopped at Central Avenue, we were not allowed to cross the police barricade. Both teachers and students have come out for this rally. They will all be coming for the MEGA RALLY at Nandan tomorrow, the 20th. 3. The court case has begun in the high court are gathering evidence and medical reports. High Court has also SAID THAT JADAVPUR IS A PUBLIC SPACE AND THAT PEOPLE CAN ACCESS IT AT ANY TIME!!!!!!!!! OUTSIDER ARGUMENT IS SMASHED. 4. The press conference went extraordinary well at Jadavpur. Students from many colleges arrived in solidarity, intellectuals and proffessors also were present. We released enormous amount of additional details and videos to national media and newspapers. The new videos will shock you all further. Students from Scottish church also told the media about the atrocity that befell Francis. 5. Preparations for the MAHA Rally continue.
