Updating my bucket list for this year .... Last year I was lucky enough to strike three more dones off my list - Route 66 in USA and visit a festival plus ride the biggest Ferris wheel in the world. This year I want to get another 2 or 3 off my list :-) Bucket List: To Do • Ride every roller-coaster in Orlando • Go to the Queens Royal Garden party • Own a White Land rover Sport • Go to Benidorm and do all the tacky stuff • Go and see the Northern Lights in Reykjavik • Dip into thermal hot springs in Iceland • Visit Thailand and the Far East and sit with the orang-utans on the beach in Borneo • Go on the Orient Express • See all seven natural wonders of the world: 1. Aurora Borealis ( northern lights) 2. Harbor of Rio de Janeiro / Christ the redeemer in Brazil 3. Grand Canyon 4. Great Barrier Reef 5. Mount Everest 6. Paricutin (volcano in Mexico) 7. Victoria Falls (done) Also want to see some man made wonders such as: o Great wall Of China o Machu Picchu in Peru o Collesseum in Italy o Taj Mahal on India o Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt • Pass my motorbike licence • Take up and Master Buddhist Meditation • Visit Angel Falls in Venezuela • Fly over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter • Finish writing my book and get it published • Visit all 7 continents (Africa, Antarctica, Europe, Asia, South America, North America and Australia – done 3, 4 to go). • Sail on all 5 The World’s Five Great Oceans ( Arctic Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Southern Ocean • Visit every country in Europe ( there is 53 of them , for those who don’t know) • Complete the round the world gastro challenge • Shower in a waterfall and sleep in a log cabin (somewhere exotic of course) • Cruise around the Caribbean • Build my own house with a pool • Visit all 50 states of the USA ( 16 done, 34 to go) • Achieve my ideal weight ( this is gonna be a tough one) • Horseback ride on a beach ( last done when I was about 8 stone lighter than now ) • Learn to speak Fluent French • Dance naked in the rain ….somewhere warm of course • Ride a gondola in Venice • Learn how to use my SLR camera properly • Make a Difference in this world …. Or at least in Stretford Already Done • Danced on top of the glass floor at the top of the CN Tower in Toronto • Gambled in Las Vegas • Played Casino in Montreal • Visited Gracelands, home of Elvis in Memphis • Visited Niagara Falls • Flew in a helicopter over Victoria Falls Zimbabwe • Went Ice Skating in New York in January • Deep sea fishing in the Caribbean • Went to a tribal party in Botswana • Canoed down the Zambezi River in Zambia / Namibia • Partied in New Orleans • Been fishing in Mississippi • Been hunting / shooting in Mississippi • Been on an elephant bare back safari in the Chobe National Park, Botswana • Visited the statue of Liberty • Climbed to top of the empire state building in New York • Visited all the theme parks in Orlando ( Sea world, Disney Magic Kingdom , Universal Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Busch Gardens) • Thelma and Louise Road Trip across the USA • Dined at the top of the Eiffel Tower • Visited Moscow Red Square • Got a Tattoo ..or 3 • Travelled to the Caribbean ( Antigua and Dominican Republic) • Ate craw Fish in Mississippi • Visited the souks of Morocco • Drove a 525 Chieftain tank • Supercar raced around Silverstone • Drove a mini around a race track … Blind Folded. • Got Married • Had the best child ever • Been to the Wimbledon women’s Finals • Been to the European Cup finals in Moscow, Rome and Wembley. • Had a private suite for 10 ladies at Ladies Day in Ascot • Saw a show on Broadway • Ride a jet ski far out to sea • Shopped in Milan • Ate Oysters and drank champagne on holiday • Ate Mopani worm, Wart Hog and Antelope in Africa. • Did Route 66 West to East coast in a convertible Thelma & Louise style • Go to a festival • Road the biggest Ferris wheel in the world (the High Roller, Las Vegas)
