Upon further reflection yes I am in love In love with the idea of love 66 years has not cured me, nor has my history deterred me, from still feeling the thrill of knowing that I am loved What has changed is my ability to accept that anyone who is worth receiving and having my love is probably loved by many others. The desire to be the one and only has not left me my friends, social conditioning, but the reality that I am no longer capable of being that one has finally been acknowledged by the 16 year old dreamer. As I walked Honey this morning looking at the stars and their light touched me I realized how long it has taken for that light to reach my eyes. The light from some folks takes longer to reach our eyes and some knock us out within seconds of gazing on their faces. Some light us up that we have never seen or touched except through the screen of a device They shine their light and we are bathed in their glow along with the millions of other facebook users who are touched by their post and comments I love you and more importantly after 66 years of struggling I enjoy it. You light up my life
