Upon hearing about the rapper Iggy Azalea and viewing some of her videos (not safe for work), my developing feminist eye noticed that sure, shes dressed in a revealing way and bla bla bla, but if you analyze her, especially the videos Work, Murda Bizness and My World, youll notice that she approaches rap much like a male rapper: with confidence, a rousing ego and the ability to OWN the ghettoness and polish it up. I would say she pulls it off much better and makes it respectable to some degree. It is hard to full explain my analysis while typing on my phone, so if you see it and have some thoughts about it, Id love to discuss it.
