Upon moving from Ireland to Trinidad almost two years ago .... and believing I had researched everything well .... I was shocked to see the standards in primary education in much of the country and the very outdated methods and mind sets that are applied .... it reminded me of the forceful way children in Ireland were taught many years ago ! It took me 8 months to decide on a school that I felt suited my child ... a friend recommended Arbor and we have never looked back. My daughter is a very bright confident little girl who loves learning, it is not a chore and this enthusiasm to learn and understand is deeply nurtured by the wonderful Arbor teachers I have a little lady who is encouraged to think, evaluate and reflect... not just regurgitate. My second daughter has just started pre-K this year and has flourished and this is all while the teachers are working with the children without the full resources and support network they are accustomed to I cannot thank them enough. I strongly support Arbor which is not just a school to both myself and my children but an extended family.
