Upon the Cross our Lord Jesus Bore upon Himself all our Sins and - TopicsExpress

Upon the Cross our Lord Jesus Bore upon Himself all our Sins and Diseases. He became a curse for us. His body was was then put into Joseph of Arimatheas tomb, but his soul descended into Hades, where He preached the Gospel to those who were kept prisoner there. It was Saturday, and the Son of God was there in that terrible place, setting Free those who were held captive there. But he was soon to Rise Again on Sunday Morning, taking Captivity Captive. That is why we worship our Risen Lord on Sunday morning instead of the Jewish Sabbath, because we Celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord as men set free from the bondage of the Law of Moses, and as Partakers of the Resurrection Life and Power of Jesus Christ! He was Crucified by the Romans at the demand and the insistence of the Jews. He was Crucified as the King of the Jews, but He was to Rise as the Lord, King and Savior of All Mankind and Every Nation, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Sunday Morning is coming!
